Wared Logistics has been awarded a contract to supply Saudi Arabia’s Tamer Group with five-tonne Toyota Dyna Trucks for local deliveries within the Kingdom.
The agreement, which was recently signed by officials from both companies, is a result of Tamer Group’s growth in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, according to the company’s national distribution manager Toufiq Chawdhury.
“With a recent expansion of our consumer division throughout Saudi Arabia, we identified the need to partner with a reliable and well- known transportation company for the outsourcing of our secondary distribution,” he explained.
“Wared Logistics is our chosen partner, and we believe that its extensive distribution knowledge and network will assist Tamer Group to ensure customer satisfaction”
In total, Wared Logistics will supply Tamer Group with 18 new Toyota Dyna Trucks, which will distribute products to supermarkets and key accounts in both Riyadh and Jeddah.
“We are very happy to be partnered with Tamer Group for this venture,” said Brian McHale, CEO of Wared Logistics. “These guys understand logistics and distribution and together we can develop new technologies within transportation management that will benefit both companies.”
